Rap up from yesterday

Night before birthday. In about half an hour, it will be my birthday; in about 23 hours, I would have officially been born. Didn't get a chance to upload blog, dad wouldn't let me. I guess I can ask Doña if it's okay to use her hotspot after school or during lunch to post. If I type it, which is EVERYDAY, it WILL go up. Something I guess no one has yet to realize about me, I DON'T BACK DOWN OR GIVE UP EASILY!!! I will ALWAYS find a way around the problem or obstacle. I won't stop until something is done, even if it's a small something of it. Plus, I haven't really cared about my birthday since I turned 15. That's probably the last time I actually cared about my birthday.

Anyways, yes, it really is midnight. Yes, it is my birthday. Yes, I'm “old as dirt”. No, I'm not thinking of anything special, but doesn't mean I won't do anything. I wish today was a B-day. I see my best friend on B-days. I have AVID A-days though, so it's still cool.

My sisters just came in singing loudly and annoyingly “happy birthday”. They couldn't have waited until I was fully dressed and outside instead of coming in while my shirt was half off and pants about to fall?

I forgot about Doña's gift she was supposed to give me. So did she. Doesn't matter. Have a bunch to do this weekend, including blog, think of banner for our house, find the seniors from my house and add them to the blogs I follow, comment on blogs, and writing a college essay for English.

I had a good time in AVID today. We talked about our poster today. Out of everyone else's, ours was definitely the best creativity. We went on to explain what the mountain was and where we were. I started off. I feel as if I did well explaining where I was in my college search. I was articulate, something I've always struggled with. I was probably more laid back since this was my family. Need to plan my outfit for the AVID induction. Orange and black all the way, BAY-BEEEE!!! Coincidentally, those have always been my top 2 favorite colors. Also, got a birthday hug from a couple of gals.

I’m deciding what movie to see. It’s either Contagion or Columbiana. I’ll see Kevin Hart in the morning. It’s nice to have options, one advantage of being old(er). Anyways, kinda can’t wait for AVID induction. I want to see who all is in the House of Hyperion. I hope they’re ready to come prepared to work. They BETTER come prepared to work. This is AVID. I wonder if we (the seniors) are allowed to check up on the people in our house. If so, I kinda want to see their grades every week. If they’re struggling, I can maybe help them. If they’re lazy, maybe check up on the teachers from time to time to see if they’re working.
