Well, I think I finally figured out the name of the girl who I didn't know the name of: Kalah Houston.

I just got back from a college seminar thing at Pikesville about paying for college. I got some good info. The guy's gonna send me more information later. Pikesville's library is nice. They have computers everywhere.

On a more serious note, what is up?!?! Hyperion is still in last place. We're not far, only 30 points, from Atlas (they lost points after someone was accused of threatening another student). Some of y'all have lost points for talking in class, during tests, and even watching music videos in class while you were supposed to do work. Remember, EVERY teacher (EVERY LAST ONE OF THEM) has the power to give or take away points, not just those in AVID. Some of y'all have negative points, most of y'all have no points at all (but that's okay, that just means that you either have to A) stand out more, B) work harder, or C) help out someone in order to gain points. Basically anything that won't penalize you will gain you points). The highest indivisual score among y'all (underclassmen) is 60 points by De'a Gordon (way to go, kid). If you ever want to see our score as a house ( as Doña would say, “who's bringing us up and who's sucking us dry.”), check out the AVID wiki, nthsavidwiki.pbworks.com. I have faith that we can do this, plus I want to get back at Jason Gibbert for puting “Atlas” on the trophy and kissing it. I'm hoping that we're just hitting a TINY bump in the road. We can do this, y'all. Without us, there would be no world. Make yourselves proud of this year. If you're not proud of yourselves, you'll end up pulling yourself down.

By the way, y'all, I'm the only one who's allowed to make “Ebony and Ivory” jokes to Ebony. Please don't say them to her. She's quietly getting irritated about it, and that's my friend, so if I have stopped, y'all do too. Not just y'all (Hyperion) but everyone else, too.
