(8:35pm)
So, today in English we learned about Shakespearean sonnets. We also had to partner up to analyze 2 sonnets by Shakespeare and write a sonnet of our own, and guess who my partner was. My best friend, Arianna Russell-Cooper☺. We were only partners because we sit right next to each other. I didn't mind, I could work with almost anyone in the class. But I did enjoy it ☺. That girl cracks me up some times. I tell ya. When we got past our 2 sonnets and went to write our own, I had to help explain to her how to use a rhyme scheme that wasn't an “AABB” scheme (I think I might have actually had to explain what a rhyme scheme was). Shakespeare uses an “ABAB CDCD EFEF GG” scheme in his poetry. We got so much done, but didn't finish it, so we just sent it home with me (I guess because I'm a good writer or understand it better or creative with words? I'm not sure?). It's not much, just 6 more lines. Y'all know me, 6 lines ain't hard. I wrote a whole poem in less than an hour for Doña's birthday, and I wrote lyrics to a song I created in about an hour combined. There was only one thing Arianna made me promise: Don't forget to do it and to put it somewhere I'd remember it (okay, so that's 2 things). Non-flirting, she looked cute when she made me promise. Then again, she's always been a beautiful young lady. I would never break a promise between us, or anyone.
