October 7, 2011
(11:10pm)
I am sooo tired, but I still need to write y'all something. I don't have a single picture for today (not that anything happened worth mentioning), but I do have a cute story that I didn't blog about yesterday (which is why I take more pictures than I blog about).

Here is Zee on my blog feeding the fish. No one logged me out of my blog the day before, so when Doña's laptop got turned on, it went straight to my blog. Ms. Lori found it then Zee wanted to play the “fish game”. I don't think Ms. Lori probably shouldn't buy any fish any time soon. Zee, I love her, but if those fish were real, they'd be dead. She was over feeding them fish like there was never a tomorrow. She kept yelling at the fish because they wouldn't eat fast enough. She's so adorable.

Off the subject, Sharee Nolley kinda reminds me of Loretta Devine. She talks in the same pitch and tone as Loretta. They act and look similar, too.

Doña loved her poem. She wrote about it in her blog. Well, the blog was actually about how Jacquynn and I are so different. We're like opposites of a whole. Whatever she is, I'm probably the the opposite. For instance, she sings, jokes, and laughs, almost no matter what and can spark a good time, conversation, or friendship in a split second. Me on the other hand, I sing sometimes (quietly to myself), I might joke sometimes, laugh occassionally. I'm mostly the quiet one in the corner somewhere. Not very many people know I existed as Jacquynn's brother, or that I've gone to NTHS for 4 years. I don't talk much, so I'm definitely not the one to spark up conversations. I'm the cool, quiet type and she's the obnoxiously loud (but cool) type. Funny and ironic enough, it was only 7 years ago that we seemed to have swapped personalities. We are like a yin and yang, or Madea and Joe. Wonder what'll happen next year.

(11:43pm)
I saw Arianna's family for the first time in a while. I don't think they recognized me until Arianna reintroduced me to them. Zane, Arianna's baby brother, is getting big. That makes me wonder how big his father is, or what they feed him. Also, lots of people have been talking about my sweater vests. LOTS of people. They said I looked like I was going to church, pull some females, or that no one's worn sweater vests since the 90s. Not true. I only have 2, but I make them look good. Apparently, women love a suave brotha in a sweater vest.

People have also talked about my voice. They all say the same thing: “You should go on the radio.” Arianna was saying that too. I thought about it and came up with some names. And y'all, please don't laugh. Or atleast don't comment “hahahaha”: Smuve Chocolate, Silk Chaclate, Church, Caleb Austin, and Silky Smoove. Yeah, I know, I know....but Coco brotha's already taken.

(12:18am)
Forgot some things because 1) the blackberry almost died, and 2) I wrote Doña a late birthday present. Anyways, here we go.

Doña's birthday treats gave me a mean sugar crave. I have a HUGE sweet tooth. Seeing all that cake and those cookies made me feel like a vampire at a blood drive.

Ms. Lori's daughter is so adorable. She absolutely loves Liz. Every chance she gets, she runs straight to Liz. Here they are staking markers.

There must have been a recent accident that happened during school. There was debris everywhere while I was walking home. Some worker was cleaning up the tree limbs and debris

This 5 year old girl at my church named Alex drew something on the board while we were setting up. She said it was a face, but it doesn't look like it at all.

And here's baby Alexandra.

No, this isn't the same girl drawing on the board. I got to hold her for a few seconds. She's so small, only about 2 months old. She was a little fussy, but then was calm for about 5 seconds while I was holding her, then was fussy again. Her parents said that I'm a natural. I hope I am, though it will be a LOOOONG while until I have a child. I mean LONG while, like 26-28 at the youngest.
Well, good night.

(7:28am)
I almost got hit by a car. He actually ran into me. It was an army person. I was so scared. He was in a hurry. He sped out of the parking lot.

(7:06pm)
Doña loved her poem. She put me on her blog. This is number two that I know of.

(7:40pm)
I absolutely LOVE my cousin Jazmyne. Her FB statuses are hilarious. I can't put most, but here's one:
Boy: Hey baby, you're abcdefghijk.
Girl: Aww, what does that mean?
Boy: Your adorable, beautiful, cute, darling, elegant, funny, goofy, & hot
Girl: Aww...but what does ijk mean?
Boy: I'm just kidding

(9:17am)
I forgot to mention some other things. I didn’t have many pictures today, but I still got a few.

We had to make envelopes and pop-up cards in Tech-Ed. My envelope looked very lopsided and ugly, so I didn’t shoot it. My card was perfect though.

I showed Yemi, she said it was okay, that her’s was cuter. I won’t lie, it did look a teeny better, a lot cuter. But I’m a dude, I really don’t care about “cute” on a project.

I saw a weird bug while I was walking home.

It startled me at first, I almost stepped on it. I didn’t know what it was, so I shot it.

The fish in the office have gotten bigger.

They’re supposed to get 10” long. They’re Asian, I didn’t know that. I found out while I was waiting for the pizza to arrive for Doña and Ms. Dauka. I waited in the office for 15 minutes, but it turned out that the guy was outside the whole time.

(3:43pm)
I am watching Deadliest warriors. It's a special one: Vampires versus Zombies. I wanted to see vampires vs werewolves, but that probably won't ever happen. If it did, I'm neutral. My vote is split on this one, too. They're giving zombies more numbers to make it even. Shautria, do vampires really have claws? They just gave zombies a ratio of 63:1. Poor vampires.

(3:57pm)
Zombies bite down with a 255 pound force. They used a rottweiler to test a zombie bite. Right now, they're testing the effectiveness of the bite against a vampire. This is soooo cool. Oh, and the technology they use to simulate the battles is designed by an ex-military game similation person. He's designed over 50 (I think) games including both of the Deadliest Warriors games. Another thing I've learned, vampires were adapted from the styles of Vlad the Impailer.

(4:10pm)
Still not sure who to side with. I could support my supposed twin, Wesley Snipes, and go with vampires (he plays Blade, who is half vampire), or I could side with Michael Jackson and go with zombies. Although, I did forget about that one girl from My Baby-Sitter is a Vampire. She is so cute.

(4:15pm)
In this special, vampires have all sharp teeth instead of just 2 sharps. They used an alligator. They got 1,723 pounds of force.

(4:21pm)
Team Vampire, I'm siding with you. Sorry Michael, but atleast y'all could win in a dance competition.

(4:42pm)
Vampires won, but they are still suceptable to the zombie virus.

(7:15am)
I found my other head phones I got for Christmas last year. Thank goodness, because I thought I lost them.

(8:24am)
Um....anyone else think Walt Disney was racist? The first Disney princess was Snow White.

(9:32pm)
We had more people in robotics club today. Well, Lizzie, Iyin, and another girl whose name starts with an “M”. We need some more dudes. As for dudes, it's just me and Mr. Needel, the robotics “person” (not sure what to call him). There were 5 of us. We started on building our protobot. So far, so good. We just need to learn how to read picture diagrams and how to use the basic tools, but other than that, we're good.

(10:42pm)
I forgot, we're not in last place anymore, Themis is. But no slacking off, we still have lots of work to do.

(10:45pm)
Also, it's Breast Cancer month. I don't know of anyone impacted by it, but it's still important.

Wrap up from yesterday
(10:54pm)
Why do parents seem to always think that just because their kids are young, living in their house, and don't have to worry about bills or meals, that that means that we shouldn't have any stress? That is so irritating. My parents look at me crazy. Yeah, I know that stress gets worse in college and in everything after that, but it's better to learn to deal with today's stress today than to pile it on top of tomorrow's stress everyday. I mean, if I can't deal with the “small” stress now, how the heck am I going to deal with anything in college.....or marriage....or prom.

(4:17pm)
Lisa Raye's daughter is so beautiful. She's fine just like her mama.

(4:52pm)
Laila Ali's voice is deeper than I expected. Her face is beautiful, just the voice surprised me. I like it though.

(11:05pm)
At church, I found this picture on our bulletin board:

It's of our youth bowling trip not long ago, some time in August. The girl is Rachel Horne. She's came to about 2 of our outings. She's something.

I found a bunch of other pictures on my computer at home, too. Like this one:

That's baby me and my sister Jacquynn. Yeah, I know. 16 years later and I'm still good looking. Kidding, half. I also found two songs: Are You Listening by Kirk Franklin and I Gotta Believe by Yolanda Adams. I don't even remember downloading them.

(11:38pm)
It's really hard coming up with a title everyday for my posts. I can never think of any. I might just label some and leave some blank.

October 1, 2011- Choices

October 1, 2011
(2:06pm)
I'm sitting in my youth group meeting and, besides one youth instructor, I'm the only guy here with 5 girls and 1 woman. It's torture.

(2:12pm)
Maya and Tyla just came in. Terrific (if you can catch my sarcasm)

(8:13pm)
I still haven't updated my blogs. Hope Carney isn't mad. I also hope I didn't fail the AP Bio test. I studied for that test. If I did, I hope I can take it over again.

(8:30pm)
I forgot to mention what happened at the youth meeting. We had an ice-breaker where we had to go into another room and grab an item. We came back and presented what we brought. The Bible meant you were a preacher, measuring tape meant construction worker, shows meant you were an entertainer, rolling pin meant chef, first aid kit meant doctor, and arm brace meant that you were disabled. We had to decide what people we would choose to stay in a bomb shelter if there was a war based on what item we chose. There were 4 people on each team, there was only room for three people. Unfortunately, I had the arm-brace, so it was a choice between me and the entertainer (Maya).

We talked about making choices. We started off by writting down any bad choices we made in life. I had a bunch. I'm pretty sure I wrote more than anyone else did.

(9:18pm)
Proof I haven't grown much:

This is my band shirt from 7th and 8th grade. I'm a senior in high school and it fits almost the same. I might wear it to school one day to bring back memories.
