(11:46pm)

Okay, I haven’t written a blog in a while, so I’m gonna write a review of The Hunger Games movie.

First off, I loved the movie. I liked the book better, but that’s because I like amost all books better than the movie.

The movie was not at all what I expected. It was about 75%-80% divergent from the book. It captured 100% of what the book was about, but just the gist. I counted about 50 things that were different from the book, but I don’t care much. In fact, I’m actually glad that it didn’t quote 100% of the book. If it had, the movie would have been atleast 4 hours long. Me personally, I can’t sit in a seat for 1 hour without moving.

I like how, since it was a movie, you were able to see what was happening behind the scenes, meaning you got to see what others were doing and saying while the games were going on. I love how Gale’s face looked super mad when he saw Katniss and Peeta kiss. The whole theatre laughed. Also liked that Rue’s death wasn’t as gruesome as I thought it would be. It was still sad, though. I don’t think there was a single dry eye in the crowd. I’m assuming that the man in district 11 that began to revolt was Rue’s father.

Okay, so things I disliked. For one, the mutts weren’t made to resemble the dead tributes. I was looking forward to seeing what they looked like. Second, the movie seemed like it was rushing and leaving out details that seemed important or vital, like Peeta being drugged, loosing his leg, etc. Lastly, I’m sorry, I wanted more blood. Especially with an arrow that was supposed to go through Marvel’s neck.

Well, those are minor. It’s late, I’ll talk about the actors tomorrow. Got school in the morning.

What a hell of a day this was. I walked to school with 2 sore legs, 2 heavy bags, and an overall sore body. It was torture. Second period, a student got mad because a teacher called her a slang name that's common among the students, but he meant no harm. He didn't even know what the word really meant. He just thought it was a harmless nickname. He apologized when he found out it was bad, but she still stormed out. Engineering, helped a girl design her car in exchange for kindness (should have gotten a hug). It was fun. Fourth period, we watched Mean Girls...again. I'm getting sick of that movie. I swear.

Missed practice, which was a fun one. Looked at Doña's HG magazine and made scans. Oh yeah, got called a HG addict

My Google background

D'oh well! If Twilight and Harry Potter can have “freaks” and “geeks”, why can't Hunger Games? And why can't I be in it? No answer?

(10:55pm)

I haven't posted in....forever. No escuse, just stress. First, I love the Hunger Games. Ever since I started, I have not been able to put down the books. I have received less sleep, and it'd probably be the first time I have ever gotten in trouble for reading a book (home and school). If it were a girl and I had a fiance, I would marry her, and cheat on her with the Hunger Games. Naw, I'm kidding. Y'all know I don't cheat . Can't wait until the movie (19 more days!!! And I STILL may not come to school that day).

Secondly, I did the cinnamon test.

Nuff said.

Third, this may be the first time this year that Chrysta and I sat down in one room together for more that 10 minutes without fighting. We were watching fan made videos of the hunger games. Some were awesome, others not so much. There were so many inaccuracies, bad actors/actresses, and bad effects in them, along with things I didn't like (fat Katniss, backpack that wasn't orange, Rue being taller or same size than Katniss, Katniss pulling the spear out of Rue, Rue not being BLACK, Peeta only having mud on his face and sitting out in the open when Katniss find him, Katniss stepping on a mine, Marvel getting an arrow shot in his stomach, Katniss having arrows without even acquiring a bow, the list goes on).

Finally, started watching Glee. Interesting, but I came in late, so I don't know what's going on.

Good night.
